Chambers of Commerce: No impact on markets from functioning transport ban decision

Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce emphasized that there isn’t any adverse impact on

 supply of goods after applying the Prime Minister decision to prevent the functioning of lorries

and Trucks inside the cities from six in the morning until eleven o'clock pm.

 

Both Federation Chairman Mr. Ahmed al Wakeel and Cairo Chamber chairman Eng. Ibrahim Al araby

stated that that the decision does not include the main roads but is limited to cities with cooperation

with Ministry of Transportation and stakeholders in order to implement the decision.

 

Eng. Al araby added that cooperation with the State is an imperative to maintain the citizen’s safety

by raising the efficiency of ways in Egypt.

 

Mr. Ahmad al Zainy head of building materials Division and head of the Heavy Transport Association in

Damietta called owners of trucks and heads of associations continuing regularity in work.

 

He also referred that commodities were excluded from that decision and there are no problems related to

the lack of goods from the market due to transportation in the coming period.
