A Meeting for owners of pharmacies Division

Held on Wednesday, November 19 at the headquarters of Cairo Chamber of Commerce a Meeting for

the owners of pharmacies Division, headed by Dr. Adel Abdel-Maksoud, Division head and the presence

of Dr. Tarek Soliman, Assistant Minister of Health and Population of the Pharmaceutical Affairs,

also deputy head and division members are attended to discuss the problems facing the sector.

 

Dr. Tarek Soliman apologized to all Pharmacists sector that the debate was closed previously

And stressed that he will support the sector to resolve all problems, pointing out he was appointed to this position since September.

 

He also noted that the ministry has already received many complaints from selling medicines in hospitals, which greatly affect the economics of pharmacies as the size of the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt up to 25 billion pounds.

 

Dr. Adel Abdel-Maksoud, said that all Egyptian pharmacies is laden with burdens of taxes, tied with a defect in the pharmaceutical system, which requires an urgent decisions and legislation before parliamentary elections and also for stores that sell drugs in public must be monitored.
