Cairo Chamber: "Importers" calling for Prime Minister help

 Cairo Chamber of Commerce announced that it will send an urgent memorandum to Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab,

 

Prime Minister after receiving many complaints from importers Because of the new publication of Customs

 

Authority to raise the indicative price to 500%, which leads to increasing the market  price besides stopping

 

the trade movement.

 

 

Eng. Ibrahim Al Araby vice-president of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and chairman

 

of Cairo Chamber of Commerce Stated that this memorandum includes the necessity to stop this

 

publication , as this indicative prices should rise gradually and announced in advance.


 

He explained that he had met with a large group of importers affected by this recent decision, Pointing to

 

the non-entry of Containers ,which valued at least one billion pounds to the domestic market until now,

 

Also emphasized that the importers are demanding a quickly intervention to re-entry goods according to

 

the old system, Especially that any delay is not in favor of the domestic market.

 

So the chamber is always keen to announce of these variables until the trader does not accusing

 

in this increase.
