In a Poll El Sewedy ranked No.1 in the industrial sector and AlAraby in Commercial sector

Eng. Mohammad El Swedy won as the best figure of industrial sector in2014, while Eng. Ibrahim Mahmoud AlAraby, Cairo Chamber's Chairman and CEO of AlAraby Group as  the best figure of commercial sector by40% according to annual poll performed by Ammwal AlGhad Magazine, which included 100 figures from experts, and investors of various productive and commercial sectors.

 

According to 45% of samples AlAraby is the best because he acts as mediator between the government and street vendors for legalizing the vendors' status, and finishing           the government plan of moving them to El Torgoman market, in addition to he launched  the project "Nation renaissance ", which aims to eliminate slums, poverty and illiteracy, providing medical care to those who deserve it, and elimination of slums and providing care for street children without prejudicing the country's general budget ,and  get           the government's Support and advocacy.

 

AlAraby also held promotional missions for national projects such as developing new Suez Canal and the golden triangle in a number of European and Asian countries, in addition to its contribution in solving many problems of traders especially in bakeries and supply commodities sectors.

This poll is the first and biggest comprehensive specialised poll of all the economic sectors in Egypt, conducted to select winners of the best performance throughout 2014, including officials, figures, companies and institutions. The poll is based on the number of decisions and services made by the nominees.

 

In addition, the magazine has made specialised polls and surveys for each sector in Egypt, resulting in having the first economic classification of its kind with admirable commitment to transparency.

 

In accordance with 31% of experts' nominations Ahmad AlWakeel ranked No.2,             the experts pointed out that during last year he succeed exceptional exceptionally to hold 6th conference for Arab investors and businessmen in Egypt, preparing for the Egypt's next economic conference .

 

They referred also that as Senior Vice President of the Euro-Mediterranean Union, he supported Egypt's position to get huge funds from the European Investment Bank to finance small and medium enterprises and the private sector in Egypt during the coming period.

 

 

While according to 14% of poll samples there were not any superstars in this sector in 2014, especially In the shadow of sequent events and decisions, issued during this period, which did not reflect any new superstars into the commercial sector.

 

According to 10%, a number of different figures within the commercial sector, such as Yasser Abbas, Vice-President of Internal Trade Development Authority, as well as Alaa Ezz vice- Chief Executive of the Egyptian and European federations of chambers.
