«Customs» and «Cairo Chamber» discuss indicative prices

Cairo Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Cairo witnesses on Monday 12th of January 2015 a meeting between importers Division and Dr / Magdi Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Customs Authority, that had been called for by Eng. Ibrahim AlAraby Vice-President of the General Union of Chambers and Cairo Chamber's chairman In order to discuss raising of the indicative prices, which sparked anger of importers nationwide.

 

He has pointed out that it had been agreed with the Customs will allow entering the goods container to the domestic market, with system of (old fees and deposit) last week. He explained that in this system the importers pay old fees amount of the container, "This is in addition to another amount as a deposit until submitting a study on the prices of goods for Customs and be discussed.
