Mr. Ahmed Shiha head of Importers Division at Cairo Chamber of Commerce Said that the Prices of

imported products increased by 15-20% due to the rising of dollar prices, the speculations in markets

in addition to increasing rates of customs. 

He pointed out that the trader cannot bear this loss and thus the consumer will bear the bill in the end.

Mr. Shiha demanded the government to take effective and efficient action to curb the rising dollar

and also dealings in the black market.
