A meeting between Yemeni trade delegation and Cairo Chamber of Commerce

On Wednesday 21 of January 2015, at the headquarters of Cairo Chamber of Commerce a meeting with

Yemeni Government delegation from "Taiz Governorate", was held and attended by Mrs. Akila Hejab-

Cairo Chamber's Chief Executive and Mr. Mohsen Shoukry head of economic and Trade Affairs sector,

Mr. khaled Mostafa, General Manager of Public Relation & magazine Department and various managers

of different departments of Cairo Chamber of Commerce.



The visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries and discussing ways of

management development in Yemen, and identifying the activities of Cairo Chamber to take advantage

of the most important activities which could be developed in Yemen.



Ms. Akila Hejab, confirmed that the Chamber was ready to cooperate with any authorities and help them

to develop their management performance through Cairo Chamber's experiences in all directions,

and the Chamber has always sought to make a link between the business community and governmental

agencies to discuss any problems that might stand in the way of any activity by offering appropriate

solutions through Cairo Chamber's Board of directors which features a selection of experienced

businessmen in all fields .



Mr. Mohsen Shoukry said that the Chamber has different departments each one has specific tasks and

there is continuous promotion for administrative development by opening channels of communication with

many authorities in administrative matters, "adding that the Chamber is fully prepared to cooperate with any

authority to achieve development in administrative thinking to commensurate with the current technological

era and the Chamber is ready to help Yemeni side by providing Chamber's experiences and expertise.

 

 

Mr.  Mustafa Hammed, General Director of Divisions, Researches and Studies at cairo chamber Said that

 Cairo Chamber of Commerce in Egypt differ from those in the Arab countries, as each governorate has its

own Chamber which contains a divisions does’ nt exist in other governates, pointing  out that different

chambers of commerce has role in community development through the fees paid by traders annually.
