The Cairo Chamber Board Members , headed by Mr. Ibrahim Al Araby Met delegation

of the Syrian-Egyptian Business Council headed by Mr. Khaldoun El Mawqaa.

this delegation included a group of Syrian businessmen in various fields, including textiles,

garments and textiles, food, chemicals, confectionery,  agricultural crops,  import and export , and soap.

During the meeting, they discussed the problems facing Syrian businessmen  in Egypt now, alternative

solutions and forming a time plan for  taking  appropriate actions, which facilitate trade and economic

transactions between the Egyptian and Syrian companies.

Al Araby stressed  That Cairo Chamber is providing  full support  to Syrian businessmen and

also there will be coordination between the Chamber and the Syrian Business Council by organizing

monthly meetings.

For his part , Mr. Ali Shukri- Cairo Chamber Vice Cairo Chamber  declared that Egypt and Syria

have strong ties on the economic and social levels from along time ago, and added that the chamber

welcomes cooperation with Syrian businessmen.

Mr. Khaldoun El Mawqaa expressed  thanks and appreciation to the Cairo Chamber Board Member

for their warm reception and their interest in support of the deep relations between both countries,

and he demanded  that  Cairo Chamber  remove the obstacles facing Syrian businessmen in various

activities in the Egyptian market and through monthly agreed meetings  between both parties, and also

called for the need to solve social and economic problems facing Syrians living in Egypt in light of the

current political conditions experienced by both countries.
