El pasha Idris: the resolution of Chambers issued by President Sisi is a turning point for traders

El pasha Idris, Cairo Chamber's treasurer confirmed that  the  decision of  Egypt's President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi , No. 22 of 2015 amending some provisions of the law No. 189 of 1951 on the Chambers of Commerce is a turning point to activate the role of the Chambers of Commerce, which would result in providing more services for  traders.

 

He also pointed out that this law was issued based on a study made by the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce to amend some of the laws of the chambers, adding that the chambers  are waiting for the decision on determining  the competent minister for Chambers of commerce in which, according to the new law Chambers of Commerce and the Federation of Chambers may establish companies alone or in combination with other persons of public or private law, or contribute to any of the existing companies to undertake their activities and fields, which relate to its purposes.
