Engineer / Ibrahim Mahlab Prime Minister and Mr. / Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Mr. / Jamal Hegazy Head of land Port Authority opens "Qustul - Ashkett" land port located on the Egyptian-Sudanese border on Thursday, after the trial  operation of the port  in August last year . The opening of the land port is considered a shift in mutual relations and strengthening the historic ties between the two countries.

Mr. / Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, Minister of Trade and Industry has confirmed that the imports and exports to the port since the trial operation is good, adding that coordination is currently among the exports and imports control Authority and the land ports Authority and the Sudanese Authority to ensure the flow of trade exchange and movement of goods and products between the two countries.
