Mr.  Ahmed Al-Wakil Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce,

said during his speech on the Observatory for at prices chambers of commerce that some

vegetable and fruit prices during the month of May fell, and other products increased

compared to the past years and because of raising the dollar exchange.

This came during a meeting held by Dr. / Khaled Hanafy,Minister of Supply and Internal

Trade to discuss food stuff availability. This meeting included the Governor of Cairo and

the Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Secretary

General of the Federation of Chambers and the heads of the consumer cooperatives and

the President of the General Union of institutions and community associations.

It was also decided during the meeting to form a joint executive committee comprising

 from the leaders of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and the Cairo Governorate

and chambers of commerce and a representative from each of the Investigation of Supply

and associations and traders to put an action plan into force  to deliver fruits , vegetables

and meat to the new outlets that are identified.
