Mr. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived on Tuesday, 2 of July to the German capital Berlin in  an official two-day visit with the aim of boosting bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, especially in the economic , military and security fields.it is scheduled to meet with German President Joachim Zhaox However, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the president will also attend the closing session of Egyptian- German Economic Forum and Joint Economic Committee, besides a meeting with senior representatives of the German business community.

Mr. / Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, Minister of Industry, Commerce and small and medium enterprises emphasized the importance of the visit because it will include important meetings and events which designed to expand and deepen trade relations and increase the bilateral trade between the two countries as well as discuss ways of cooperation and partnerships between Egyptian companies and German counterparts. He pointed out that Germany is one of the most important trading partners in Egypt, the trade exchange volume with the German side about 4 billion Euros a year, while the volume of German investments in Egypt up to 603 million Euros.
