Chambers of commerce elections in a stage of mobilizing supporters

After closing the appeals and grievances, chambers of commerce elections, which scheduled to be held in 13th June, entered a stage of mobilizing supporters of each candidate to attract more voters.

 

 

 

In Alexandria Ahmed Al-Wakeel current President of the General federation of Chambers of Commerce and President of the Alexandria Chamber with his list of "continuous giving" stand for elections. He announced his plan for the next session in the case of winning, stressing that in case of approving internal trade development Authority on allocating 550 acres, a large shopping market in Alexandria to transfer retail trade outside the residential areas will be established. In other hand, Jaber Osman, the head of collective transport Division began in tours for mobilizing small traders to support him against Ahmed           Al-Wakeel.

 

 

 

in Assiut Governorate two lists compete each other, the first called  the "old guard" led by Ibrahim Abu Eloyoun the current chairman  and the second "traders for Change" headed by chief of Pharmacists Syndicate in Assiut ,Dr. Mohammad Khaleel and outside the two lists there are two candidates Nabil Ahmed and Mustafa Ahmed Abdul Jaleel. In Port Said more than 32 of Traders from Port Said raise the slogan of change and stand against the list of Mohammed ElMasry-the former Chairman of Port Said Chamber.

 

 

 

In Cairo, the list of Engineer Ibrahim AlAraby, the current Cairo Chamber's chairman and Vice Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers won by acclamation after the withdrawing Ahmed Shiha, head of the Division of importers and Ahmad Abu Jabal head of toys Division. The list of Mohammed ElFayoumy won also by acclamation in Qalyobyia Chamber of Commerce
