Sisi signed Sharm el-Sheikh Declaration and the Free Trade Agreement

Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic of Egypt and a number of African leaders signed a free trade agreement between the three African economic blocs (COMESA, SADC, and the East African Community), which include the establishment of a free trade area between the 26 countries of these economic blocs and the liberalization of trade between them by 2017, also the leaders signed the Sharm el-Sheikh Declaration ,that is culmination of the African summit ((three African blocs)) hosted by Egypt.

 

President Sisi has thanked all the participating delegations, and he pointed out during his speech of closing session that what has been implemented is a milestone to achieve economic and regional integration on the African continent. , also  he called the participating States to implement this Convention and to take the necessary measures and legislation, adding that it must be a real chance to work on investment to achieve the objectives of the peoples of the continent through joint work and persistent effort.
