Tripartite Free Trade Area is important for Egypt and the African continent

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi stressed that the launch of the Third Tripartite Summit between

COMESA, EAC and SADC Is a major step towards establishing the African Economic Community

that will have an impact on the continent's economic climate.

 

The Foreign Minister Mr. Sameh Shoukry said that the tripartite free trade area agreement is significant

for Egypt and Africa to take advantage of what we own from huge economic capabilities in addition to

achieving development and creating a wider market beside strengthen cooperation between the southern

countries.

 

He pointed out that Egypt is cooperating with all African peoples who have suffered from colonialism,

and liberated especially as the African continent abounds with many of economic prospects that stems

through the world economy.

 

Mr. Shoukry added that cooperation with Africa includes issues that impact on development

and stability is as terrorism, peace and security cases considering that the importance of this summit

reflected in the attendance of  African leaders participants.
