Mr. Ahmed El Wakeel, Chairman of African federation of chambers of commerce revealed that they are
studying a project to establish a logistics centers in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade
to increase the trade exchange between Egypt and Africa, which will contribute to the increase of the
Egyptian products in African countries during the coming period.
Al Wakeel said that this logistics centers on which many countries of the world in order to reduce the
Production cost through a strong supply chains for goods and cargo, As it will provide an opportunity for
youth to start a viable career provided by those areas.
He also stressed that establishing a free trade zone grouping 26 African countries including Egypt
Contribute to increase the market space in front of the Egyptian producers, also is an important step
towards gathering African markets at one market and this is the dream that we will seek to achieve in
the future.
AL- Wakeel concluded by stressing that this Africa's integration will contribute to further African trade
movement instead of third-party intervention from outside the continent to complete the commercial
exchanges directly, that any product will access the markets of 625 million people without customs or
administrative restrictions.
