Mobile phone Division Calling Customs not to apply the Indicative Current Prices

Mobile phone traders Division at Cairo Chamber of Commerce called the Customs Authority to

release the cargo containers stacked in ports, As a result of the indicative prices.

 

The division stated that the escalation of this crisis is coming After Customs appling the indicative

price rates up to 800% higher which led to the inability of the importers to pay, and take out their goods

from ports.

 

Therefore, the Division is currently called the Ministry of Finance and Customs Authority to release the

accumulated in ports the same price as the previous and forming a committee to develop a fair indicative

prices keeps the rights of all.

 

For his part, Mr. Walid Ramadan, Deputy Head of the Division emphasized that the number of accumulated

cargo in ports ranging between 150 and 200 containers increases on a daily basis, pointed out that the

Division describes the dimensions of this problem on markets  then on the investment  sector, which is in 

the end to benefit the country's economy.
