Cairo Chamber is discussing amending the regulation of affected traders

Engineer / Ibrahim AlAraby- Cairo Chamber's Chairman and vice president of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, said that the Chamber will submit a memorandum to Mr. / Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, Minister of Industry, Trade and small and medium-sized enterprises, to increase the credits provided in cases of disasters and fires according to the losses, and under the trade Charter of Honor to help affected traders by the Fund credits of the Chamber.

 

The Chamber had formed a committee headed by Mr. / Osama Jaafar member of the Board of Directors to confine shops affected by the fire, which broke out in one of Faggala Buildings and losses included four shops and 38 shops of selling office supplies.

 

He confirmed that during this session he will submit proposals to amend the list of affected traders through establishing a system of social solidarity along the lines of health care project, which has been activated.

 

In the same context, Mr. / Ali Shoukry, Vice Chairman of the Chamber said that the traders affected by the fire have no insurance on their shops and most of them small businesses, and the Chamber looking to give them some symbolic reparations from the Chamber 's budget.
