Mr. / Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, Minister of Industry and Trade and small and medium-sized enterprises said that a delegation from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade headed by Mr. / Alexander Tolparov official of Foreign Economic Relations  in the Ministry. The delegation began a an important visit to Egypt lasts for 4 days, so as to choose a location for Russian industrial zone to be established in Egypt during the next phase, which include food and engineering industries like automotive industry and equipment, machinery, shipbuilding, locomotives and other industries.  This delegation includes more than 20  a Russian companies interested in investing in the Egyptian market .

The minister emphasized that those industrial zone will contribute to boost the economy and increase the movement of trade and industry in addition to the expansion of investment between the two countries.

He pointed out that the visit comes within the framework of common concern between the two countries to activate and expand the areas of cooperation and achieve major breakthrough towards economic and industrial fruitful cooperation, and as a result of the agreements that have been signed over the past month with the Russian side framework, after discussions with Mr. / Dennis Masarurov Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian.
