He confirmed that the new Canal is part of an ambitious plan to transform the surrounding area into an industrial and commercial area

He also pointed out that the new Canal adds geographically and historically dimension and Egypt changed the map of the world in this record time, also will contribute in promoting a huge investment in various economic fields and technology, which leading to the real development of the national economy.
