Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce will launch in cooperation with regional associations

and Federations counterparts around the world an integrated program to promote investment in new

Suez Canal,

Mr. Ahmed Al Wakil, Federation chairman clarified that within the next three months, the campaign

will include organizing and participating in specialized conferences and exhibitions on investment

opportunities in Suez Canal with Russia, France, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Germany, Portugal,

and Lebanon, in addition to the Egyptian hosting of the International Conference for transport and

logistics in November 2015. 

Adding that to achieve a rapid growth to new Suez Canal, we must release a revolution on all procedures,

regulations that are blocking development in Egypt, Calling for the establishment of an government units

concerned with dealing with workers and investors in this region. 

Mr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General Pointed that the Federation was agreed with many of the financing

organizations, banks and aid agencies to fund these conferences to attract investors to integrate with

the promising opportunities.

Adding that he was adopted financing a number of grants from the European Union in Marseille to

promote investment in Egypt.
