AlAraby: a plan for attracting investment and increasing the competitiveness of traders

Engineer / Ibrahim AlAraby Cairo Chamber's Chairman and vice president of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce confirmed that the coming period will witness an action plan aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the traders and developing human ability and entering the informal business to the formal system, in addition to attracting more foreign investments into the Egyptian market and opening new overseas markets and developing small and micro enterprises.

 

He referred to the need for completing the legislative procedure revolution, initiated by the government so that the business community can achieve the aspirations and objectives of the economic structure.

 

He also explained that the chamber will discuss with the Ministry of Finance the draft  of VAT law,t hat has identified as 15%, while the chamber will negotiate during the coming period to be reduced, with no more than 10% only.

 

Eng / Ibrahim AlAraby said that Cairo Chamber shall take prcedures for participating in school supplies fair at special prices in the month of September, along the lines of the exhibition «Buy Egyptian products », in which the chamber participated to support Egyptian citizen by providing low price school supplies.
