Eng / Ibrahim AlAraby, Vice President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of Cairo Chamber of Commerce said that the talks, which currently take place between officials of Cairo Governorate and Cairo Chamber of Commerce about establishing a car city in New Cairo in order to transfer auto market and assembly of all car traders in Cairo where, reached final stage and will be announced with all the details of the final agreement between both parties.

He pointed out that the establishment of this city represents a significant addition to the improvement and development of the automotive sector to solve many of its problems.

He also added that the project will be built on an area of 55 acres in New Cairo to the Qatamya Road through and the volume of investments volume reached more than  100 million pounds, which will be financed with the participation of Cairo Governorate and Cairo Chamber of Commerce and by offering shares to the traders to participate in financing this city, it is expected that this project be established soon and moving the car market within a few months to reduce the traffic pressure on the capital, especially that all the car showrooms and storages will be transferred to the new car city, and the owners of car showrooms would accept limited area for showing Cars only
