President Sisi: Egypt strongly returned to Africa

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed the importance of developing infrastructure in various Arab, Islamic, African and Mediterranean countries to boost trade movement and investments among those countries.

 

 

During a meeting on Monday 9/11/2015 with representatives of chambers of industry, trade and agriculture in Arab, Islamic, African and Mediterranean countries, in the presence of Dr. Khalid Hanafi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade ,the President said that Egypt adopts a free economic system that depends on the market mechanisms.

 

 

Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said the President reviewed the features of Egypt's economic development as well as the investment atmosphere and the legislation and laws aiming at encouraging more investments.

 

 

Sisi pointed out that the problem of natural gas shortage at factories and power plants ended and that will give an opportunity to investors to pump more investments into the country, said the spokesman.

 

 

President Sisi reviewed the indexes of the country's economy, pointing out that international credit rating agencies elevated the country's credit rating from stable level to positive while economic reports expected Egypt's economy to grow.

 

 

The President affirmed that Egypt's foreign policy is balanced and based on non-interference in the affairs of other countries, pointing out that Egypt returned strongly to Africa and is open to all countries worldwide.

 

 

According to the spokesman, the participants expressed their countries' keenness on promoting trade with Egypt and praised Egypt's experience in the domains of logistics and services.
