Protocol between Cairo and Beirut Chambers of Commerce

Cairo and Beirut signed joint cooperation to support the Egyptian-Lebanese economic relations, by providing the necessary data on investment and business opportunities, and mutual visits, and discussing the needs of the markets in the two countries, through the Lebanese Egyptian forum, last Tuesday, , which was organized by the Federation Chambers of Commerce.

 

From the Egyptian side, Mr. / Ali Shoukry - Vice Chairman of Cairo Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. / Mohammed Choucair the Lebanese side, the President of the Beirut Chamber and Chairman of the Federation of Lebanese Chambers and the chairman of Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Mediterranean Sea signed the protocol.

 

Shoukry said that the protocol aims to seek paving the road for business, removing obstacles and business integration; in order to increase investment transactions between the two countries, stressing that the coming period will witness the development of trade and economic relations between Egypt and Lebanon; to provide new investment opportunities and commercial opportunities between the two countries, pointing out that both countries should identify their market  demands for supporting trade exchange.

 

Mohamed Choucair said that the Protocol is a real launch to increase trade exchange and providing investment opportunities, especially with the presence of a desire to support economic relations between the two sides, pointing out that Mutually agreed data will play a major role in increasing the Egyptian Lebanese trade, boosting the Egyptian-Lebanese relations, opening up new prospects for economic, industrial and trade cooperation in the next phase.
