The central Bank: provision of needed foreign currency to import food commodities

The Central Bank has pledged to provide funds of foreign currency to import food and strategic goods in large quantities during the next stage, especially Wheat, meat, poultry and other food items and make them available to the public and private sectors at discounted prices, during the meeting held between Tarek Amer- President of the Central Bank and Khalid Hanafy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade.

 

 

Minister of Supply stressed that there is coordination and cooperation between the central bank and the Ministry of Supply for providing food and Strategic Goods in huge quantities at discounted prices in all branches of the consumer Cooperatives and the outlets of the Ministry of Supply.
