French Chamber of Commerce: economic meeting on Tuesday in the presence of Tareq Qabil

French Chamber of Commerce in Cairo announced that a French-Egyptian economic meeting will be held in Paris, on Tuesday December 1st ; with the goal of strengthening bilateral ties and promoting for Egyptian market to attract French investors.

 

Many business leaders, economists and politicians will attend this event, organized by the Institute of the Arab world, in partnership with the French-Egyptian Business Council chaired by Fouad Younes, Embassy of France in Egypt, and the Egyptian Embassy in France, and the current President of the Institute of the Arab world, Jack Lang.

 

For his part, Hassan Behnam, Advisor of the French Chamber of Commerce and industry in Egypt and coordinator of the French-Egyptian Business Council, Egyptian Minister of trade and industry Mr. Tareq Qabil, the French Minister for economy and industry Immanuel Makron, Andre Baran, Ambassador of France in Egypt and Egyptian counterpart in France, Ihab Badawy, and The current president of the Institute of the Arab world Jack Lang will attend this meeting.

 

Behnam Explained that the French investments in Egypt is estimated at about 4.3 billion euros (4.9 billion dollars), while the volume of trade exchange between the two countries about 3 billion dollars in 2014. A member of the board of directors of the French Chamber of Commerce in Cairo added that, France have a serious desire to invest in Egypt in projects such as the development of the axis of the Suez Canal and the "City of the airport, "and In the sectors of energy, infrastructure and tourism.
