Minister of Supply: providing food commodities at lower prices 25% in markets

Dr. Khaled Hanafy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade announced that the mechanisms and plans implemented by the Ministry in cooperation and coordination with other agencies led to a reduction and the stability of food prices, including the intensification of supplying meat, poultry, beans, rice, sugar, oil, vegetables and fruits at discounted lower prices 25% than others in the market.

 

 

Hanafy said, on the sidelines of opening 5 food outlets to sell commodities at discounted rates in Cairo, the price of fresh and chilled meat at a price of 50 pounds per kilo was unified and the poultry price at 20 pounds per kilo, "meal" at prices ranging from 20 to 30 pounds per meal which includes Protein, carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits. It was also intensified the presence of automotive mobile cars loaded with food commodities at discounted prices in all the governorates.

 

 

Hanafy confirmed that more than 500 branches of consumer cooperatives all over Egypt were the developed and modernized and other sections of the branches in the commercial chains of private sector are now being developed and will soon be completed 25 branches, indicating that there is a great interest of young people since the opening of "Gameaty project " Which includes granting youth commodity loans ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 pounds. This project aimed to open outlets of commodities in all villages and hamlets and providing commodities for citizens at discounted prices and job opportunities for the youth to reduce unemployment.
