Engineer Tariq Kabil, Minister of Trade and Industry said that currently Egypt coordinates with the Russian side and the UAE for establishing an industrial zone in the east of Port Said including automobile industry in particular large trucks and agricultural equipment as well as construction equipment, indicating that a delegation of Russian businessmen will visit Cairo in mid-January.

He pointed out that Sharm el-Sheikh will host early next February the meetings of the Egyptian-Russian Committee which will examine number of topics of mutual concern between the two countries.

The minister said - after his return from the UAE capital Abu Dhabi that his visit to the United Arab Emirates targeted holding an extended meeting with Russian and Emirati officials, to discuss the establishment of a Russian projects in Egypt with joint investments By Emirati Russian Fund for investment which recently was agreed to be established, pointing out that , the agreement on the financing mechanism of the Fund, in coordination with the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr from the Egyptian side.

He added that talks With Denis mantorov, the Russian Minister of industry and trade addressed a number of issues, on top of  them the preparations of the Russian side to establish logistic center for storing and circulation of wheat in Egypt and export to neighboring States as well as to the establishment of a factory for processing wheat as well as to the most important industries proposed to be established within the region of  the Russian Industrial Moreover, cooperation between the two sides in building ships for the transport of passengers between cities of  Red Sea.

The Minister called the Russian side to provide Egypt with a list of the most important imports of Russia from Turkey in order to study the preparation of Russian importers to visit Egypt and meet with the Egyptian exporters to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides.
