Exporters Division at Cairo Chamber appealed President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi because of collecting sales tax on production lines, noting that the resolution is considered "disable for domestic and export industry, and has a negative impact on providing more employment".

"Al-Basha Idris "Head of Exporters Division at Cairo Chamber said that collecting sales tax on production lines destroys the local industry, adding that this violates the directives of President Al-Sisi,which aimed  at supporting investment and local industry for the development of the economy and provide more jobs.

Idris called president to interfere quickly in this regard, which would affect the investment and exports, and consequently would affect the country's hard currency, wondering: "Why did you collect a sales tax as long as will be recovered again later? ""This is only disabling for local industry."
