Cairo Chamber discusses reducing prices with owners of food sectors

Cairo Chamber headed by Engineer Ibrahim ElArab, in extended meeting with all the business divisions discussed supporting the Government initiative in seeking to implement the directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for lowered prices during the current period, after a meeting last weekend with food companies to follow initiative of price reduction Food to follow price reduction initiative started recently.

 

ElAAraby said that the traders have  role in support of the Government initiative to cut rates, especially with "meat and foodstuffs, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruit and importers", Stressing the need for support to this initiative .

 

He stressed that supporting the President's initiative on reducing prices is not the first, especially traders working in consumer commodity.

 

ElAraby said that traders has a significant role in maintaining market stability and price stability over time, proving that when the country saw some crises in the past traders kept the commodities in the market  so as not to influence the citizens .

 

Traders demanded the Government for  providing  the dollar to import finished goods or raw materials goods to increase supply, which is the basis of lower prices and stability, along with decreasing  guiding prices of Customs and facilitating licensing procedures, with a view of  expanding  in  good exhibition nationwide.
