The Federation of Chambers to sign agreement on the establishment of a logistic center for exports

Ahmed Al-Wakil, chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce announced the signing of the agreement between Egyptian and Ugandan Federations of Chambers of Commerce on the establishment of the first Egyptian logistical center in Uganda. This agreement would be signed during the upcoming visit of President Al-sisi on 28th Jan. Upon the approval of the Ugandan government, that will provide the land and licenses and security

 

The agreement is intended to facilitate the availability of Egyptian products in Uganda, and from there to the neighboring landlocked countries like, Burundi, Rwanda, Congo and western Kenya, which  are also members of the COMESA ,and  south of Sudan because  the alternative  is  a road from  Khartoum to those States will take many years to establish .
