Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Tariq Kabil announced that there is a delegation from Italian investors includes representatives from 30 companies, headed by Italian Minister of Economic Development Federica Judy, who will visit Egypt next February, in preparation for Egyptian Italian summit this year under the chairmanship of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Matteo Renzi Italian PM.

 It is expected that the delegation will discuss investment opportunities in the sectors of furniture, energy, transportation, electricity, and construction.

This discussed during the meeting of the Egyptian Minister with Maurizio Massari Italy's ambassador in Cairo, and officials of the Italian company, that responsible for the preparation of the general outline for the project of "Golden Triangle".

He explained that the meeting dealt with sectors of joint cooperation with the Italian side, especially in the project of assembling the leather industry in Alrubiky, pointing to the need to take advantage of the Italian experience in establishing the new city of furniture to be set up especially in Damietta as well as cooperation in the field of technical and Professional Training through establishing more specialized technical institutes like (Don Bosco) Institute.
