The Gabonese President Visits Cairo, February 17

The Gabonese Ambassador declared that the Gabonese president will visit Egypt during the period from 17 to 19 of February to support the Egyptian Gabonese relations at all levels, especially on the economic level.

He said during his visit to Cairo Chamber to discuss ways of increasing trade cooperation that the Gabonese president wants to hold the meeting with traders and Egyptians economists during his visit to discuss the investment facilities and trade in the two countries, as well as to increase cooperation in all fields including roads, bridges and food beside the timber sector, by which Gabon is distinguished.

 

The Ambassador expressed his hope in having airlines linking Egypt and Gabon in the coming period to facilitate trade and investment processes especially that Gabon imports many items from various countries; Egypt can be a priority in the export to Gabonese market.

 

 

In return Ali Shoukry, Vice Chairman of Cairo Chamber expressed his keenness to increase cooperation between the Chamber and the Gabonese Embassy in the next phase to support trade and investment relations. He welcomed the expected visit of Gabonese President to Cairo, stressing that a high-level delegation from the local traders and investors will be prepared for holding a meeting with the Gabonese president during his visit and discuss all commercial opportunities and investment directly. Also he expressed optimism for visiting Gabonese President to Cairo describing that it would be true Launches for increasing relations between the two countries economically and commercially.

 

 

Sameh Zaky, a board member of Cairo Chamber of Commerce and vice chief of Exporters Division also noted that the arrangement for  visit the Gabonese president will be prepared  not at the level of the Cairo traders , but also  will invite all parties and business organizations in the local market to achieve the greatest benefit . He confirmed that the Chamber will provide all the data and information on local products and will be submitted to the Gabonese importers to choose what fits with their markets to increase local exports to the Gabonese market.
