There are many complaints of citizens in the recent smart ration cards that system conceptualized by Dr. Khalid Hanafy  Minister of Supply and Internal Trade to reduce thefts and ensure access to those who deserve it.

The strange thing in this system is that the new system did not produce the loaf of bread for deserved poor people but produced new categories of unprincipled officials, who extend their arms to the inside

Of the company which produces smart cards and reach to the grocer, who issued cards and extend to the bakeries which became able to double its profits and thus all have benefited from the system except low income citizens and the government. Although the government's good intentions when creating this system But they rely on the Ministry of supply offices in the provinces, which surrounded by suspicions of corruption, to keep the population of each region in the various governorates related to Ministry of   supply office  «grocer », through which issued supply commodities per month, according to the number of registered individuals .

 Recently appeared many fraud and manipulation of the smart card in addition to manipulating some bakery owners, who reached to breach in operating system of smart card, that allows registration of credit cards of citizens in more than a machine, coercing the company to amend the system on 31 December last year in an attempt to reduce this manipulation but the amendments subjected to breaching again. These were not only the negative features which make the ministry to consider the possibility of turning smart cards to Global Visa Cards  for the convenience of citizens in getting subsided bread , supply commodities, point system ,and other service from Ministry and also to avoid negative aspects of Smart card.
