Cairo Chamber of Commerce called on the business community to put the initiative of discounts on their products in all activities to participate in the celebration of the International Day for the consumer on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

Engineer / Ibrahim ElAraby Vice Chairman of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of Cairo Chamber of Commerce said that this initiative is not confined to discounts on goods and product prices only but should include all of the services needed by the consumer to achieve the goal of the celebration, which activate the social role of traders towards community and consumers, which will result in increasing selling and buying, and the recovery of the markets, thus supporting the country's economy .

ElAraby said that consumer support is not new trend for Cairo Chamber that has played a significant in social role and currently showing the role of the honest traders and support him In contrast exposing the dishonest traders in front of consumers and regulators stressing that such actions help protecting product and trader.

He called not only the traders in Cairo but also all over Egypt to take the consumer in consideration, pointing out that such initiatives aimed at activating the buying and selling movement of the market and supporting the country's economy.
