Food Division at Cairo Chamber of Commerce demanded that companies of business sector, which producing sugar should clarify its policy and prices in the sale of sugar, because a ton of sugar reached to 4,500 pounds at wholesale instead of 4150.

Mr. Ahmed Yahia Chief of the Division confirmed on the need to announce the reasons for the high price of sugar to prevent any confusion in the market, as a kilo of sugar will be sold at a price of 5.5 pounds for the consumer instead of 5 pounds.
