The visit of a delegation from Togo to Cairo Chamber

Based on the vital role played by Cairo Chamber to work to encourage and increase trade exchange and the development of economic in order to increase investment between the Arab Republic of Egypt and other countries of the outside world and find appropriate ways of communication between exporters and importers.

Ahmed ElZeiny Cairo Chamber 's Board Member.,Mr. Khaled Mustafa, manager of trade and economic affairs sector,Mr. Mohammed Salahuddin Shalaby, General Manager of public relations and commercial services,Mr. Mohammed Samir Fahmy, director of Public Relations Department, received  Mr. / Essohouna Meba ,Chairman of Togo Chamber of Commerce,Mr. Johnson Kueku director general of Togo's International Fair,Mr.  kwame T.wili Nene, commercial director of the port of Togo,and Mr. / Komlavi Arsene Adjayi Director of Public Relations Department at Togo Chamber .

 

Mr. Ahmed El Zeiny began by welcoming the delegation, hoping that this meeting will be fruitful, by achieving a good partnership between Egypt and Togo and try to activate these partnerships, and called for investment in Egypt. He pointed out that there is a confirmation by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to all sectors of the Egyptian government to strengthen foreign relations and increase trade exchange between Egypt and all the countries of the world, especially the African countries.

 

He added that Egypt is now in a new economic phase, and there are many investment opportunities,the most important, are  the new Suez Canal  project and industrial logistics and mining, where specific Council was created for managing this region, and currently facilities and infrastructure are established for the new administrative capital and also residential units are built as a first stage in the capital. He pointed to the most important products that are exported to Togo, such as essential oils - rail vehicles - fruits and vegetables - leather products.

 

Mr/Essohouna Meba said that the aim of this visit is to develop business in Togo and to increase cooperation among the economic sectors of the two sides, and to promote the Lomé international exhibition which will be held from November 8 to December 5, 2016, which is a good opportunity to meet entrepreneurs and exporters and importers and Egyptian counterparts in Togo.

 

Then Mr. Johnson Kuek Director of Lomé International exhibition explained how the participation of Egyptian businessmen in this exhibition. Resuming that Togo is considered the most important strategically in West Africa, and the participation of Egypt will be a starting point for cooperation and economic development.

Mr. kwame T.wili Nene said that The port of Lome is the largest ports in West Africa, which consists of 15 countries and this port is one of the most important ports where received 1500 tons of products and 500 container of goods by 2015 and is one of distinctive ports that operate 24 hours, crossing three major countries are Mali, Nigeria and Burkina Faso, in addition to that they are ready to provide all the facilities for visa and accommodation in Togo.
