Cairo Chamber receives a delegation from the State of Sri Lanka

Emphasizing the pioneering role of Cairo Chamber in promoting economic growth and creating investment opportunities in cooperation with the international society, Cairo Chamber under the chairmanship of Engineer / Ibrahim AlAraby received a delegation from Sri Lanka headed by Ambassador / Ramih Bujarajan Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Cairo.

 

 

Mr. / Ramih also added that the State of Sri Lanka is keen annually to participate in the Cairo International Fair with products (spices - raw rubber used in tires - pineapple and coconut - tea and spices) and the Sri Lanka famed for  tea industry, which invaded the Egyptian market until Kenyan tea emerged  and that is confirmed by Mr. Eng / Sameh Zaky, Cairo Chamber's Board member , in the meeting,  who added that there was a protocol between the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and Sri Lanka in 2012.

 

Mr. Ramih has expressed his desire to help Cairo Chamber by  organizing  illustrating meeting  at the Chamber shows how the interaction between exporters and importers ,which will result in expanding investment horizons between the two countries in the coming period, in the above-mentioned sectors.  He also recommended that there could be an invitation to tourist companies to resolve the problems of Tourism facing the Sri Lankan people, who want to visit Egypt and that is praised by Engineer. Ibrahim AlAraby, who stressed that all issues discussed in this meeting will be circulated to all Egyptian Chambers of Commerce that Business Divisions Dept. will invite the traders according to above-mentioned fields, which is praised by Mr. / Ramih, expressing delight of the good reception and results of the meeting
