Important public decisions by Egyptian Cabinet

The Egyptian Cabinet headed by Engineer Sherif Ismail has taken important decisions to push development projects and benefit from the idle land and to provide the needs of the national project for social housing, And tourist facilities, resolving the situations of environmental conditions, establishing integrated city for the leather industry in Roubeaky to double the value of exports during the two to three years from the start date.

 

 

 

The Cabinet approved the license to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in the contract with the General Authority for Petroleum and Sahara Company for oil and gas to carry out exploration activities in the Western Desert to maximize petroleum reserves.

 

 

For the land and investments that have already allocated to the professional syndicates to build housing units for its members within the Social housing , the cabinet agreed to the consultation with each syndicate  on  necessary measures to establish these units taking into account the conditions and the position of each project in each Syndicate .

 

 

The Cabinet also approved in principle to allocate land for a project of benshmark power Company to create electricity Station from solar energy in Kom Ombo- over a 1000 acre of desert in the West of Fares road -Kom Ombo.

 

 

The Cabinet approved on granting  South Sinai for Tourist Transport Company  an additional time to establish garage and housing for workers in Sharm El-Sheikh on the land allocated by South Sinai governorate for tourism companies outside the residential block.

 

 

The Cabinet agreed to host the Conference of "COP 14" of  the United Nations Convention for the conservation of biological diversity and its Protocols during 2018, which is the largest global forum in the region.

 

 

The Cabinet approved the amendment to the executive regulation standards of charcoal and applies the best practices available in the Egyptian market as a first stage during this year with only allowing the export of charcoal for environmentally compatible establishments.
