On the occasion of the official visit of His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani visited the Egyptian Bourse accompanied by CEO of Bahrain Bourse Sheikh Khalifa bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa and a number of officials, where there was at reception Chairman of Egyptian Bourse Dr. Mohammed Omran. 

The Egyptian Bourse signed a cooperation agreement in order to facilitate double entry process between the two bourses, as well as cooperation in enhancing the technological infrastructure and informatics for the Bahrain Bourse to contribute to facilitate the flow of investment between the two countries.
