Talks between Cairo and Tangiers Chambers to increase the Egyptian-Moroccan economic relations

Cairo Chamber's delegation, who is visiting Morocco currently on a promotional trip to invest in the domestic market, discussed the ways of increasing trade and investment, plus boosting exports in the coming period with the Board members of Tangier Chamber of Commerce, it was agreed as well as on a joint plan between Egypt and Morocco to increase trade between the two countries.

 

Mr. Ali Shoukry, vice – Chairman of Cairo Chamber of Commerce said that the talks included the development of cooperation between the two chambers and increasing activation of the joint protocol signed between them for the benefit of the two countries and support their economies through forming joint delegations group to exchange visits and participating in fairs organized in the two countries and holding meetings directly between Businessmen in both parties.

 

He added that it was agreed to develop a joint plan to support trade and investment in the two countries through the two chambers and to provide all data on investment and export opportunities that benefit both sides and open channels of communication between members of the two chambers.

 

For his part, Mr. Omar Moro Chairman of Tangier Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the visit comes within the framework of the continuous interest of the two countries and renewing for the development of bilateral cooperation, and deepening the trade relations between Morocco and Egypt in general.
