A delegation from Bangladesh visits Cairo Chamber to discuss the development of commercial relations.

Cairo Chamber received a delegation from Bangladesh headed by Mr d/Quader Sarker, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh Government in light of the ongoing efforts of Cairo Chamber in developing international relation.

The Bangladesh delegation stated that the purpose of this visit is to publicize the product of jute (burlap) that is manufactured and produced in Bangladesh and offered samples of jute as well as catalogs for different products are manufactured from jute because they can produce the finest jute worldwide.

 

They can Export more than 80% of its products to more than 120 countries around the world, particularly African countries and the most important of these States Sudan and Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda Cameroon, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Italy, India and France .

 

 

In addition to this, the use of jute is healthy and safer than plastic to fill and save crops such as rice, wheat, cereals, tea, coffee, onion and cement, and they produce a day nearly 700 tons of high quality jute and many different textiles.

 

As he explained they were importing cotton from Egypt and manufacture it and then exporting it to several countries like India, Pakistan and China, with an annual export volume of garments $ 35 billion and they are the second largest clothing exporter worldwide after China.

 

He noted their desire to sign a protocol of cooperation between Cairo Chamber of Commerce and Chamber of industry and commerce, in Dhaka, Bangladesh to increase cooperation and trade between the two countries.
