Sherif Ismail, the Prime Minister  issued a mandate to form an operations room in  Information and Decision Support center related to the Cabinet  including  the Ministries of  Supply and internal trade , agriculture and  land reclamation , Local Development and Investigation of Supply and the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics Centre of the Council of Ministers Information and the Administrative Control Authority and Consumer Protection and the Division of food and public Authority for export and import Control and  the Bank of development and agricultural and the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce.

Hussam Al Gamal the Chairman of Information Center, said that this room is aimed at reducing the rising prices of basic food commodities and to receive citizens' complaints about high commodity prices in all governorates all over the country and to intervene immediately to resolve it and provide goods to citizens in accordance with the rates approved for each commodity.
