G20-Trade ministers adopted new strategy for growth of World Trade

On Sunday, July 10 in Shanghai, the activities of the ministerial meeting of trade ministers of G20 were wrapped up.

 

Trade ministers of G20 adopted the global trade growth strategy," and determined ways of improving global trade management, and reducing trade costs.

 

Tarek Kabil, Minister of Commerce and Industry and head of the Egyptian delegation explained that this strategy serves as recommendations that will be submitted to the Group of Twenty Summit, which will be held in China next September in the presence of Member States presidents, and with the participation of Mr. President Abdel Fattah ElSisi .

 

The trade ministers of the G20 expressed their commitment to approving on  the "trade facilitation agreement" by the end of this year, and providing  the necessary resources to support mechanisms of "trade facilitation", specially designed to help developing countries for  implementing the agreement , cooperating as well as with the members of the WTO in order to convert the "transparency mechanism of  regional trade agreements from" temporary to permanent mechanism.
