Supply Minister discusses establishment of Egypt-Kenyan strategic alliances

Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy held a meeting with board chairpersons of Kenyan tea companies and the head of the Kenyan meat committee.

 

The meeting discussed the establishment of Egypt-Kenyan partnerships and strategic alliances to increase Egyptian tea and meat imports from Kenya, a ministry statement said.

 

The meeting took place during the minister’s participation of the 14th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Nairobi, Kenya.

 

Hanafy is expected to meet today with Kenyan Industry, Investment and Trade Minister Adan Mohammed.

 

He will address the UNCTAD ministerial conference on Egypt’s experience in encouraging local production and developing products’ distribution and storage system
