Egypt and Iraq are probing boosting cooperation in fields of common interest and the two-way trade, according to a Cabinet statement on March 5th.
This came during a meeting held between the Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and his Iraqi counterpart Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani.
Both leaders have agreed on signing memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in the coming two months, along with discussing their cooperation with Jordan and preparations for the next session of the Egyptian-Iraqi Joint Higher Committee.
