Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, met with Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of El-Araby Group, to follow up on the group's activities and expansions in the presence of Engineer Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Engineer Mohamed Al-Araby, CEO of El-Araby Group.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister pointed out the state's keenness on continuous monitoring and support of major industrial and investment companies and groups, considering them essential partners in achieving the desired economic growth rates and enhancing their role. He praised El-Araby Group as one of the most important national economic entities and its role in providing various products that meet the needs of the Egyptian market, as well as its role in providing new job opportunities for young people. He said, "We are proud of the group's achievements on both the local and international levels," reaffirming the continuation of support and assistance to such economic groups and entities, and creating a suitable climate for them to encourage them to inject more investments.
Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby, on his part, highlighted the group's activity during the past period, reviewing a number of industrial projects currently underway that would contribute to providing many products and raw materials, seeking to reduce the import bill. He mentioned the exhibitions that were organized to showcase the group's products, as well as the availability of these products through a network of approximately 3,000 distributors across the country. He also highlighted the group's exceptional skilled workforce, emphasizing the group's commitment to caring for them and enhancing their professional development. He said, "We have 45,000 exceptional workers, and they are the real capital of the group."
Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby also stated that the group is set to sign a cooperation agreement within the coming days for the development of a piece of land in collaboration and partnership with its foreign counterparts.
During the meeting, Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby also discussed the group's expansion plans on both local and international levels, reviewing a number of industrial projects currently underway in several Arab and African countries.
During the meeting, Engineer Mohamed El-Araby discussed the group's future plans to deepen local manufacturing efforts. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen the local industry by making agreements with national companies to provide the necessary inputs, supplies, and essential materials required for the group's factories. This will contribute significantly to reducing the import bill.
The meeting also addressed a number of challenges and obstacles that El-Araby Group's companies and factories are facing due to the current global crisis. In this regard, The Prime Minister instructed to promptly tackle and overcome the challenges and obstacles confronting the companies and factories of the El-Araby group, which have arisen as a result of the ongoing global crises. This will allow the group to continue fulfilling its crucial economic role and drive to enhance local manufacturing.
