TUNIS, May 12 (MENA) - Vice President of the Federation of Egyptian chambers of commerce (FEDCOC) Mohamed Abdel Fattah said that more than 60 Egyptian companies have plans for entering into alliances with Tunisian companies, according to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, aimed at boosting cooperation between Cairo and Tunis.

Earlier, Sisi had directed to encourage investments and enhance cooperation between Cairo and Tunis in various fields, especially electricity, gas, oil, and energy sectors.

The president also urged to encourage investments, and economic cooperation between the two countries in addition to following up the latest updates on coronavirus and its consequences on the global economy, el Masry said in his speech during the Tunisian-Egyptian business council, held in Tunis under the presidency of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli and his Tunisian counterpart Najla Bouden.
