Public work:
- Member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Cairo 2002/2006.
- Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo 2010/2014 (elective sessions).
- The Board of Directors head of the paper traders and owners of printing presses Division at Cairo
Chamber of Commerce for several sessions starting in 1995 until 2013 (the end of the session).
- The Board of director head of the General Division of paper traders at Egyptian Federation of
Chambers of Commerce.
Achievements of public work :
- Reducing the tax accounting basis of the paper in 2002 after holding several meetings with the
Chairman of Egyptian Tax Authority
- Cancelling the decision of the former Minister of Education Dr / Ahmed Zaki Badr about not assigning
the print of school textbooks of The Ministry of Education to private print houses, And confined to
governmental printing houses and press institutions. Such decision would have resulted in dismissing
thousands of workers and closing small and medium-sized printing houses that rely on printing school
textbooks. Printing orders have already been assigned to private printing houses from last April.
- He adopted after the revolution Trade cooperation with the Nile Basin countries, COMESA countries and
Iran.
- He has represented the Cairo Chamber of Commerce in the delegation which visited Iran and held
several meetings with the Iranian Minister of industry and trade , and the Governor of Isfahan In
preparation for returning trade relations between the two countries.
- He Met with the ambassadors of Turkey, Greece, Albania, Eritrea, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia, Uganda,
Pakistan, in preparation for travelling delegation from the Cairo Chamber and representatives of Cairo
traders to invest and start a commercial activity with these countries.
